| Knowledgebase NetWare Utilities Applies To: Open File Manager 8.x and previous versions only. Some versions of NetWare Utilities, such as anti-virus or site metering applications, can compromise the installation of other applications by the way they capture and restore File System Hooks. If you are using Open File Manager on the same server with such an application, the order in which you load and unload the applications is important. You should unload the applications reverse from the order you loaded them. This LIFO (Last In First Out) method of loading and unloading ensures that the File System Monitor Hooks that both applications use are properly maintained.
