How is Open File Manager licensed?

You may download Open File Manager and evaluate it using a "live trial" serial number. The "live trial" can be used for 15 days before it will expire.

When you first purchase Open File Manager, you will be issued a temporary serial number, good for 30 days.

You will be issued a permanent serial number when you register the product. Once you receive your permanent serial number you can use the Control Component to change your serial number for your System Components.

A permanent serial-number provides several major entitlements as follows:

• A machine limit, determining the maximum number of systems on which Open File Manager can be installed and used

  
  

• A license type, determining which platforms Open File Manager can be installed to.

• A subscription period, determining duration of maintenance and support, typically meaning support should be coming from an OEM Partner
