Progress Typically, once System Components are installed, they are ready at all times to detect a backup starting. System Components should be running before the backup starts in order to manage all open files during the backup. You can always check whether a System Component is running using the Control Component to get status information. Note that it is not necessary to unload the backup agents when loading the System Component.
