'Error creating OFM_PATH'

When installing the Open File Manager System Component, if you receive the message above (where OFM_PATH means a directory path value), it means:

• You are not logged on with administrative rights for the Windows System Component machine

  
  

• Your Windows System Component machine may not have the C$ share (C:\) or the ADMIN$ share defined

  
  

Please confirm that the C$ share is configured for the C root directory (C:\) and that the ADMIN$ share is configured for the %SystemRoot% directory (C:\Windows or C:\WINNT).

To check the Windows System Component machine settings, do My Computer > Manage > Shared Folders > Shares on the System Component machine.

You may remotely connect and check share values by doing My Computer > Manage > Action > Connect to another computer ...
