| Knowledgebase Open File Manager and McAfee NetShield V4.0.x Note: This issue does not apply to Open File Manager 9.1 and later. Open File Manager 9.0 and earlier versions on systems with NAI's (Network Associates, Incorporated) McAfee NetShield versions 4.0.x has incompatibilities that lead to NT system deadlock. NAI has resolved one of the incompatibilities, with a fix in NetShield version 4.5. The remaining incompatibility is dependent on load order, and is resolved by ensuring that Open File Manager loads first. We have automated the process of ensuring correct load order. Customers using Open File Manager and NetShield are encouraged to upgrade to newer versions of NetShield, and obtain the automated load order utility from St. Bernard Software. Open File Manager V6.2 Build 205 or later is also required.
