| Knowledgebase NetWare Server Abends with 'Nonmaskable Interrupt Processor
Exception' Novell TID 2964339 describes a server abend that can occur on NetWare 5.1 servers with SP5, and NetWare 6.0 servers with SP2. This abend is reported at the NetWare console as a "Nonmaskable Interrupt Processor Exception" and may show OFM.NLM in the stack if the server is running Open File Manager. This Novell issue is resolved in NetWare OS patch "nw56up2.exe" at: http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/2964339.htm Because this issue potentially affects Open File Manager customers, we strongly recommend that the Novell patch be installed on the affected platforms.
